WELCOME TO SPRING HOUSE MEDICAL CENTRE
We are a GP Led Health Centre, providing GP services from 08:00 am to 18:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays from 08:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Our facility is all on one level and fully accessible for individuals with disabilities, featuring a spacious car park that includes designated disabled parking.
We have wheelchair ramps and handrails installed throughout our clinical corridor.
We have electronic doors to assist the less able in accessing our waiting room.
Spring House Medical Centre is operated by Ephedra Healthcare, an organization established by the eight GP practices in the Welwyn & Hatfield region, in collaboration with NHS Hertfordshire

Non-urgent advice: IMPORTANT UPDATE - MOUNJARO (TIRZEPATIDE) FOR WEIGHT LOSS
GPs in Hertfordshire are not able to prescribe Mounjaro for weight loss. Instead, access is through a dedicated NHS service for people with the highest clinical need.

NEW DIGITAL TRIAGE SERVICE
On Monday 2nd June, Spring House Surgery switched to a “TOTAL DIGITAL TRIAGE SERVICE” where all requests for appointments, medical certificate plus admin enquiries are to be submitted online.
For prescription requests please email the practice on: springh.scripts@nhs.net
This system has been implemented successfully across the country with excellent feedback regarding accessibility, patient choice and continuity. This change will allow the practice to prioritise patients based on their clinical need and will ensure faster care, improved continuity.
THE NHS APP
The NHS App provides an easy and safe method to access various NHS services on your smartphone or tablet. Use the NHS App to:
