IMPORTANT UPDATE - MOUNJARO (TIRZEPATIDE) FOR WEIGHT LOSS

GPs in Hertfordshire are not able to prescribe Mounjaro for weight loss. Instead, access is through a dedicated NHS service for people with the highest clinical need.

We are a GP Led Health Centre, offering GP services from 08:00am to 18:30pm Mondays to Fridays and Saturdays 08:00am to 12:00pm.

We are on a single level, and have full disabled access, with large size car park including disabled parking. 

We have wheelchair ramps and handrails along our clinical corridor.

We have electronic doors to assist the less able in accessing our waiting room.

On Monday 2^nd June, Spring House Surgery switched to a “TOTAL DIGITAL TRIAGE SERVICE” where all requests for appointments, medical certificate plus admin enquiries are to be submitted online.

This system has been implemented successfully across the country with excellent feedback regarding accessibility, patient choice and continuity. This change will allow the practice to prioritise patients based on their clinical need and will ensure faster care, improved continuity
